Why We Created This App
Knowing your best season in the 12 season system is only the beginning. We originally created this app as a tool for our clients so that they could take the knowledge acquired during their color analysis session to the next level.
It’s one thing to know what your most flattering colors are. But now what? This app helps answer the question “How do I pair colors together in my season?” and provides outfit inspiration for each of the 12 seasons so that you have a visual representation of how chic those color combinations (sometimes unexpected!) can look. We also offer real-time suggestions on clothing, accessories, and makeup that work beautifully for your season to help you take the guesswork out of shopping.
Our Philosophy
When it comes to self-expression, sometimes expressing yourself means enhancing your natural beauty to its fullest by wearing your “wow” colors. Other times, it means going against the colors of your season to make a statement. In the end, it’s about intentionality; We’re here to give you the knowledge to make informed choices around color.
If you love a color and it makes you feel confident, we firmly believe that you should continue to wear it, regardless of whether or not it’s in your color season. Color is meant to be a tool to communicate something about yourself with others. It’s not meant to be restrictive.

Deanna is a professional makeup artist, photographer, and certified color analyst who is passionate about helping others feel seen, beautiful, and self-assured at every stage of life. After years of helping women look their most harmonious and confident through makeup, becoming a certified color analyst felt like a natural extension of everything she loved. Today she blends over three decades of makeup artistry and color theory work to create an experience for her clients that’s both personal and transformative. With the Color Edit app, Deanna hopes to bring that feeling of personal transformation to a larger audience.
Roxanne Nicolas
Roxanne is a wardrobe consultant, style educator and certified color analyst who is passionate about helping others discover their style and express themselves through fashion (and color!). As a self-described “fashion efficiency expert”, her goal is to make it as easy as possible to look put together and remove the mental overwhelm and decision fatigue that we can feel when getting dressed each morning. Her fashion philosophy can be summed up with the following two statements, representing the yin and yang: “Fashion is self-expression” and “Keep it simple”. Roxanne firmly believes that with the Color Edit app, both of these goals can be achieved.
